How to Join SVCCU

We are so happy that you are interested in joining Sioux Valley Community Credit Union! When you join, you are part of a community of thousands of Siouxlanders who chose to keep their money local and invested back into the region.

Note: Accounts have to be opened in person. You are more than welcome to come in at either three of our branches and open an account with us. 

You must live or work in the Siouxland area. Refer below to the Counties that we serve.


When you come in, please bring the following with you: 

  • $25 to open a regular share account. ($5 to open a checking account. Subject to eligibility.)
  • A piece of mail with your name and current address. ( utility bill, paystub, etc)
  • A Non-Expired Government issued ID


 For Minor accounts:

  • $10 to open Junior Share Account.
  • Birth Certificate for Minor
  • Joint Owner over the age of 18 is needed
  • Joint Owner’s Non-Expired Government issued ID
  • Joint Owner’s piece of mail with name and current address. (utility bill, paystub, etc.)
  • While we do not need the physical copy of a social security card, we will need the number as per federal law requires us to obtain certain identification information when opening accounts.
