Disclaimer – Repossessed Vehicle Sales (Iowa)
Each vehicle is offered for sale by Sioux Valley Community Credit Union as secured party after repossession and is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS. Sioux Valley Community Credit Union DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. No statement or description in any listing creates any warranty.
Prospective buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect the vehicle in person and/or obtain an independent inspection prior to purchase. All sales are final and no returns or exchanges will be accepted except as required by law.
Required disclosures & title. Sioux Valley Community Credit Union will provide (i) the odometer disclosure required by federal and Iowa law, and (ii) when applicable, Iowa’s Motor Vehicle Damage Disclosure Statement (and written disclosure if an airbag is missing or non-operative). Upon full payment, Sioux Valley Community Credit Union will provide a properly assigned certificate of title (and lien release, if applicable) so the buyer can title and register the vehicle.
Vehicle information. Unless specifically stated, Sioux Valley Community Credit Union has not performed a mechanical inspection and makes no representations regarding condition, prior damage, service history, or third-party reports.
Mileage is reported from the vehicle’s odometer and/or title documents; Sioux Valley Community Credit Union does not independently verify mileage beyond the required legal disclosure.
Sale terms. Listings (including availability, descriptions, and prices) may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice. Sioux Valley Community Credit Union may accept or reject offers in its discretion. Sales are conducted as a disposition of collateral under Article 9 of the Iowa Uniform Commercial Code.
Buyer responsibilities. Buyer is responsible for all taxes, title and registration fees, insurance, and transportation. Vehicles may be inoperable at pickup.
